There are moments in life when we realise that the plan we once made no longer makes sense. When what we believed was the right choice has to give way to what actually works in real life.
In this episode of the Ammehjerne Podcast, I join an honest conversation about motherhood, breastfeeding and the expectations we face—both from ourselves and from those around us.
We talk about my own experience of breastfeeding, marked by mastitis, high fever and months of expressing milk around the clock. About the grief of letting go of the dream of exclusively breastfeeding, but also about the relief that came when I finally gave myself permission to choose a different path.
The conversation reaches far beyond breastfeeding.
It explores perfectionism, control and identity.
And how our idea of the "right" choice can sometimes prevent us from seeing the solution that truly works.
Many of these reflections also shape my work as a designer and entrepreneur. We often begin with a plan, but experience teaches us that the best solutions emerge when we stay curious, listen and are willing to adjust along the way.
An honest conversation about letting go of control, finding confidence in your choices and discovering that the best solution isn't always the one you first imagined.
