Why Second Selection?

At Hymness, Second Selection refers to minor imperfections that do not meet our first-quality standard. These may include natural variations in the leather, uneven edge paint, small production marks, or slight irregularities in stitching and details.

In some cases, these imperfections may have a minor impact on the user experience—for example, a zipper that does not glide quite as smoothly as on our first-quality products—but every item remains fully functional and has been carefully assessed.

These variants are selected for The Hymness Collective Archive, where they are offered at exclusive member-only prices.

Care

• Wipe clean as needed with a soft damp cloth and a mild, neutral soap.
• Deep leather care is typically not required until after 1–2 years, unless the product is exposed to significant sunlight, moisture, or heavy wear.
• A leather conditioner may be applied for additional protection during periods when the bag is exposed to changing weather conditions or increased wear.
• Store in a dry place and, if possible, lightly filled to help maintain its shape.
